DePaul Community Resources seeks a full-time (37.5 hours/week) Registered Nurse in the Ashland, VA, location.
JOB SUMMARY
The Registered Nurse provides training, support, and consultation to divisional staff, sponsored providers, and backup support providers related to medical conditions, medications, procedures, and nurse-delegated tasks. Completes necessary home visits at Sponsored Residential locations to oversee nurse-delegated tasks. Provides medical consultation and training as needed and requests to Residential staff groups on individuals residing in sponsored residential homes and group homes. Travels to each service location across the organizational footprint to provide necessary training at service locations pertaining to nurse-delegated tasks and various medical conditions. Assists with the creation and revision of training curriculums related to medical diagnosis and needs and nurse delegated tasks as defined by DBHDS

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
The applicant must submit a current MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) that reports the previous seven years and possess a driving record that complies with DePaul's insurer's policy before hiring. The applicant shall not have been convicted of any barrier crime(s) on the criminal background report. The applicant will have no founded disposition of child abuse or neglect as documented by the Child Protective Services (CPS) background report. The employee must occasionally lift a minimum of 25 pounds, physically assist physically dependent individuals, and restrain a child when appropriate with proper certifications. Must have and use personal transportation. Work hours may include afternoons, evenings, and weekends, as well as regular business hours. The applicant must be willing to be on-call periodically to provide emergency casework coverage.
Compensation depends on qualifications and experience.
